Don’t Worry

There are lots of little saying about worry that people say in hopes that we will stop:

-worrying about tomorrow robs you of peace and joy today

-worrying is having fear not faith

-99% of the time what you’re worrying about doesn’t happen

And there is lots of Scripture about it, like Matthew 6:34 - “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

But this quote stopped me in my tracks. When I worry, I don’t trust God to get it right. Wow! That applies to everything - to our families and children, our homes, communities, and politics.
