I have a past. I’ve sinned and made some big mistakes. Sometimes I was deceived because I wasn’t walking closely enough with the Lord or I was too self-assured, and sometimes I was rebellious. Sometimes I was reacting to circumstances before I got my faith back underneath me - either way, I pray that I didn’t offend (even though I’m sure I did) and that grace will cover you as it has covered me.
Everyone has a past and, if they are in Christ, that past is under the blood! Even if the sin is heinous. As a Church, we need to love others more fully - especially if they are thorny or unchurched. I thank the Lord everyday for His grace and mercy and I pray that it will exude out of me to others.
