Jesus had a choice, and He always chooses to forgive us when we repent - He forgives us even when we aren’t aware of it sometimes. Think about that.
He forgave those who crucified Him and hurled hateful words at Him while He was dying on the cross. He forgave you and He forgave me. His redemption and salvation is inclusive of all our sins, not just the ones we remember. We may still face consequences for them, because God set up a hierarchy of authority for a reason and because of His law of sowing and reaping is truth. But He will still love us the same and will gather us up in His arms at the end. Who do you need to forgive?
