Everywhere you go, you encounter hurt people. Especially now. The emotional affects the pandemic has had are invisible, but they are everywhere and have hurt more people than the virus did. Strong people are fragile right now, and they don’t even know it until they break a little.
I was talking with a friend the other day who had been the victim of this. He shared that people are acting a little crazy in the head right now and that it’s scary. I reminded him that they’re hurting. This doesn’t excuse bad behavior, but for the Christian it’s an opportunity to show grace and compassion. It’s a chance to show love to someone who really needs it right now.
