In this life, we will have trouble - pain, heartache, suffering and death. These are the results of sin, though. God isn’t mean. He cared so much that He sacrificed His son so we could be Adopted and have a way out… eventually.
He cares so much, that He helps us to overcome pain and become better. Better at showing compassion, sharing wisdom, loving people and loving God. Better at experiencing joy and hope - and then expressing it so others can be lifted up and so we can get closer to our Father.
