“…for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’” Isaiah 46:9-10
Our God and Father KNOWS, He really understands what is happening and why, and He tells us what to expect in His word. However, sometimes (most of the time) we don’t “get it” until afterwards. We need to learn to trust more while we’re walking through “it.” And we need to receive the grace He has given us to empower and enable us to follow His will and purpose. I confess that, more than once, I thought I’d blown it so bad, that could no longer fulfill God’s purpose for my life - I realize now how silly it was for me to think I had that kind of power. God sees the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end.
