We’re all in this together…until you look around and you’re alone. We weren’t created to handle our lives and the crazy broken world we live in alone. We were created to help each other through it. The biggest reason we don’t share our burdens is pride.
It doesn’t always look the same though. Sometimes it is when someone doesn’t want to look weak or be vulnerable to anyone else, so they struggle alone by choice. Sometimes they know others have a lot in their plates, so they don’t want to bother you or come to you. Sometimes a person just wants to be independent or, they just don’t trust anyone else to do something - they need to be in control. ALL of this is prideful - and it isn’t what Jesus taught.
