Love is always the answer that Jesus applied. Even when He was betrayed, He responded in love, not anger - and He rebuked Peter for responding in anger. Anger leads to all kinds of problems… Love does too. Loving others is what enables us to get hurt, rejected, disrespected, and betrayed. But the answer is to continue to love and forgive. As a follower of Jesus, I have to remember that love lays down the desire to be right. What matters is pleasing Jesus and building each other up.
