My Brothers & Sisters

We are meant to need God and to need each other. The Church is an amazing family. We don’t realize it today, but it was a really big deal to be called brothers and sisters in Christ in the early church. Family membership had privileges and those privileges (including financial benefits) was extended when you called someone your brother or sister - it was like an informal adoption and it was recognized by the community.

Are you a brother or sister to someone? Do you act like it? Are you there for them no matter what? Do you pick them up when they get knocked down by life, or they fail and need to be comforted rather than condemned?
