No More Idols

Do you have anything or any one that you think you can’t live without? Watch out! I’ve definitely had times when I out a relationship onto the idolatry pedestal- it became so important to me that I convinced myself It was God’s plan for me. It was my plan for me. Other times I would pray for a thing instead of for God and His will to be done. I wonder if my misaligned prayers delayed my spiritual growth and God’s blessings… I was definitely being disobedient.

Don’t get me wrong, I can see how God has kept me and helped me through my bad decisions, but they were idolatrous choices that I wish I hadn’t made.
