Light. It’s the source of life because without it the bottom of the food chain, plants, will all die. God’s light also our source of everything that is good.
Light defines everything, because it enables us to see and examine things - it even defines darkness, for without the light, we couldn’t see where true darkness begins. In fact, darkness is defined by the absence of light.
We live our lives in the light, except we all have secrets that we try to hide. But the light will prevail and that which is hidden will be exposed.
For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17
