Patience is one of those things that we all desperately need, but don’t really want to learn. We cannot live well without it. We start teaching it to our children before they can talk, and yet we resist exercising it ourselves. I even know people who will walk away from their grocery carts because there are lines to check out.
It’s not about being patient - like it’s an attitude. It’s an action. Acting with patience becomes even more essential when we’re dealing with other people, especially those closest to us, our family and friends. Too often, we think as if it’s ok to be selfish and safe to be mean to those we say that we love the most. What a cop out! This is not how you treat people you love... and we are called (actually commanded) to
love E V E R Y O N E!!
“Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” Ephesians 4:2
Act with humble patience today. Watching how we treat one another is how others learn about Jesus. #patience #BEkind #theywillknowusbyourlove #saltandlight #walkinthespirit #shalom #yourjourneytobeingwhole #dailydevotional
