When things don’t go the way you’d hoped, or how you thought God was going to orchestrate them, how does that make you feel? What about when things just go wrong, and bad things happen, people are hurt and even sometimes die? We live in a broken world and it will always cause us trouble, Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Peace. Perfect peace. Shalom. This is what the Lord gives us in exchange for our faith and trust in Him. Peace that surpasses all human understanding and faith that moves mountains is ours!
Turn to the Lord with your disappointments, with your failings and with your raw emotions. Trust Him and trust in Him and allow His peace to fill you, His Spirit to heal you and lead you on your Journey to Becoming Whole.
