I haven’t heard much preaching or teaching about holiness in a while, but have had this song by Scott Underwood running through my head for a few days, meditating on it...

Holiness,

holiness is what I long for.

Holiness, holiness is what I need.

Holiness, holiness is what you want from me...

Holiness means set apart for a specific and special purpose. Jesus asked us to be holy because He is holy. I think God is reminding me with this song that He has called me to be holy, set apart for His service and purposes. I confess, I’ve let the demands of life get me off this track - and maybe someone else needed this reminder too. 💙
