The Heart of Faith

I know that many of us do not have a quiet heart right now, rather our hearts are troubled, if not broken. Even so, God is faithful. He is still on the throne in heaven and He loves us with a fierce and relentless love. He wants good for us but He knows all about the evil in this world. We must remember that the source of our faith is God and His integrity, His faithfulness - not in the outcomes we can see right now.

Our Father pours out grace and mercy on us. We do not deserve it but He doesn’t hold back. He relentlessly pursues us because He loves us so deeply, yet He will never force faith on us. We always have a choice between light or darkness, faith or fear, love or hate, and forgiveness or bitterness.
