God made this promise to Moses and the other Old Testament prophets, and to us as His adopted children, the promise is even greater! Jesus came and lived with us, experienced life and death and redeemed us from that death. He told us to follow Him and to do as He taught us: to love God and love all people. Then, He extended the promise to us:
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”
John 14:15-18
He is with us ALWAYS and He never leaves us to face things alone.
