When I stopped playing the part everyone identified for me, “the strong one,” is when the Lord renewed my strength. It wasn’t about me and my capabilities or capacity anymore, it was about His! Every once in a while, I’ll catch myself handling things on my own strength and get weary - but God has so much grace that He reminds me that I don’t need to do that. My life verse is Philippians 4:13 - “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” When people tell me they can’t handle something, I lead them to the living water of the Word! It is THE WAY!
