Romans 8:28 tells us that God will bring something good out of the storms that bring devestation to our lives.
Storms have a way of exposing things that are covered up. They are a part of life that brings stuff to the surface that you might not want to admit are there. We cover them up and bury them in our hearts, but God wants to uncover them, deal with them and ultimately heal them. Don’t be afraid of this process. It’s totally worth it and it’s very good! The things we are hiding are ammunition the devil uses against us.
