“Wait on the Lord” is repeated over and over in Scripture. Not as many times as “Do joy be afraid,” but a lot, so God really wants us to get the message! But the waiting isn’t doing nothing - it’s getting ready, preparing the way and building our trust relationship with our Lord. When we don’t wait for what we know God has promised, we mess it up. Yes, God can fix it, but He doesn’t give it to us until we’re ready .
