What a Friend

We don’t like the trials and hardships of life and we often ask God to take them away, but that’s not really His style. In fact, In John 16:33 Jesus said, “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

So the key is clinging to Him, our rock and redeemer. He is our guide to navigate these times and trials, He is our helper and our friend, our good shepherd. He never leaves us, ever. We may feel alone, but we aren’t. We may even walk away from Him and His path, but that doesn’t mean we’re alone or that He has left us.
