It’s easy to forget that this is true. You are chosen by God, He knows you and has always known you. He knows every weakness and flaw and every strength and gift that is in you - and He loves you just the same. So much so that the King of the universe adopted you and made you His child - so now you are royalty. Jesus is your brother and your model - He showed us how to be concerned with ministry to others and how to show love and to pray to God and for people - this is priesthood.
God makes us Holy by covering us in His own righteousness and covering our sin with the blood Jesus shed for us. Our responsibility is to grow in our relationship - God makes us holy. Each one of us is very special to God and precious. The great mystery of heaven is that we can all be God’s favorites.
