Every one of us should take heed to this warning.
Too often we think that we aren’t vulnerable to the devil just because we are saved. That’s not true though. That’s why Paul taught us this:
”Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his great power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can fight against the devil’s evil tricks. Our fight is not against people on earth but against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world.“
Ephesians 6:10-12 NCV
We need to be ready for the attacks that will surely come. Read and meditate on the word of God, pray constantly and worship with a grateful heart, building up your faith and walking according to the truth! Ask God to strengthen your foundation and protect you from what you cannot see. Don’t do evil and expect a good outcome. (It blows my mind how many Christians do this with sex, thinking it’s ok outside of marriage since their older and not a kid.)
