Knowing God’s will is a big deal! But it doesn’t come the way many other things come to us. To be close enough to the Lord to know His will for you, to be in tune with the plans and purposes He has always had for you - the ones He uniquely created you for - is worth any price you could ever pay. So, why don’t more people do it? Because you have to surrender YOUR will, plans and dreams to God first. Before you know what God wants, you have to want it more than your own wants. The verse before this one, Romans 12:1, tells us: “Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service.”
Most people don’t want to actually do this. Do you?
