If you hate someone, you’re not just turning away from God and telling Jesus to take a hike, you’re blinded by darkness. Blinded! That’s what God says, not me. This applies to people who’ve done you wrong and hurt you. It also applies to prejudice and racism.
If you hate someone God created, He takes it personally. He tells us to love one another the way He love us, and the way that we love ourselves - even our enemies. This kind of forgiveness is only possible through the Holy Spirit who is with you, you don’t have to do it alone - but if you don’t… Rick Warren said, “Racism is a problem of sin, not skin. One day we’ll give an account for that sin before God.” This is true about any kind of hatred.
