Fighting the Battle

We are in a battle in this world. A big part of this takes place in our own minds, as @joycemeyer wrote, but some of it is constantly taking place around us. I choose to surround myself with praise music to create an atmosphere where God is honored and worshipped and the Holy Spirit is in control. It’s not magic, but it is helpful to set the battleground up yourself. The devil doesn’t want you to praise, he will work hard against you to stop you. When you praise, your countenance will lift, your spirits will lift and you will be closer to God and harder for the devil to torment.
