When we look at this verse, the focus is usually on the part about how the Lord is with you and that you are His mighty warrior, and that is true and it is important. We are all fighting battles and we are all doing it WITH the help of an amazing Paraclete named Holy Spirit! We fight, but we are never alone.

The Lord will take great delight in you and will sing joyfully over you! Like a parent sings over their babies and takes delight in all the little things they do - that’s how God is with us. Imagine Him as a loving parent who is holding you and dancing and sing around you as He pronounces blessings over you.
