In Truth

The Lord doesn’t leave us or give up on us (Deut. 31:8). He promises to listen to us when we call out to Him and our hearts and motives are true - the opposite of this would be praying to somehow manipulate God or to have Him help you do something wrong.

Have you ever tried to manipulate God? Have you ever asked Him to help you do something or get something that wasn’t in Gods will - like to help you date someone who wasn’t a Christian, or to qualify for a loan that would cripple you financially?

“The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.” Psalms‬ ‭145:18‬ ‭

God wants to bless you! Like any creative parent, He is always thinking of ways to delight His children. But He is perfect and He won’t reward our bad behavior or dishonesty- even if the one were lying to is ourself. So approach Him with truth and lean in to Him. Let The Lord show you how close He is... #seekthelord #childofgod #goodgoodfather #christianliving #iamafriendofgod #shalom #yourjourneytobeingwhole #dailydevotional
