Listen

I am sharing this quote from @elisabethelliotspeaks because I have experienced the same thing so many times. It’s always when I have quieted myself from all the thoughts swirling in my head and choose to listen that I hear Him. I don’t know if He is speaking when I’m not listening, but I think He waits until I am. When I hear Him, deep in my spirit I am strengthened with a faith that will persevere through whatever comes. I know that He is with me and that His rod and staff protect me. I have seen Him do great things, so I will trust Him more.
