IF we need wisdom - that’s hilarious. Of course we need wisdom! Every single day I pray for wisdom. My intelligence is flawed, my feelings are skewed, and we have access to the wisdom of God and the Holy Spirit who are perfect in their understanding and knowledge of every situation. Why would any Christian not ask for their wisdom on a subject or decision?
The first reason that comes to my mind is pride. Pride is deadly and makes bad decisions. The second reason I can think of is that you’re experienced.
