How do people think they can have a fruitful walk with Christ without forgiving everyone. Yes, everyone. The Bible doesn’t make exceptions. Forgiveness doesn’t mean that you are stupid. It means that you let go of anger and bitterness and trust God to be fair and just with that person - makes matter what happened. You don’t have to go back to an abuser or trust a thief, just forgive them and move on.
The verse also says to bear with one another - that means we need to be patient. Give each other a break and treat each other with understanding. How is that going in your house, your church and your workplace. I definitely see places where I need to be more patient and understanding as I start off this week.
