One of the keys to following God is paying attention. Pay attention to the people you encounter, what they say and do, and what you see in their eyes and hearts. Listen to what the Holy Spirit tells you about them. They are probably on your path for a reason… do you rush by as you “fulfill your purposes,” or do pay attention like Jesus did. Jesus saw inside people not just because He was the son of God, but also by the power of the Holy Spirit. You have the same power within you. “With God nothing is impossible.” He can do anything with anyone - don’t let yourself put limits on Him.
Ask God to help you see what He is doing in and around you so that you can participate as His child. It’s like asking your Daddy if you can help Him with some chore or project. It’s how we learn and grow and I think it makes God smile when we want to try to help.
