Have you ever preached to yourself? Sometimes you just need to take the Word of God that is planted in your heart and remind yourself of the truth with the help of Holy Spirit! You know what you’re struggling with and so does the Lord, who is with you always. He actually knows more about it than you do yourself, so when you preach to yourself with His help, it’s the most pointed and powerful word you could get. So do it and pay attention! Do it out loud because faith comes from hearing. I know it sounds kind of silly, but it isn’t. If you need to be rebuked and encouraged, than who better to hear it from than yourself?
