Jesus didn’t tell us that once we were His followers everything would be great. He told us we would have to suffer, that we would need endurance and perseverance if we wanted to follow Him. But He also promised that He would be with us and help us through it all!

We don’t find our peace in the world or in our circumstances. Our peace that surpasses all human understanding comes from God - He alone is our source and He will never leave nor forsake us.
