There is a time and purpose for your story. So many of us bury it because we’re ashamed or have pain that remains and we don’t want to relive it. God doesn’t want you to relive it either - He wants to heal you, make you whole and cleanse you from guilt and shame. Then, you’re a beacon of hope to others and your pain isn’t wasted!
Burying the past, and not telling our story actually helps our adversary, the devil. Each story, each testimony, is a weapon against the evil one. We don’t even know how much power... until we tell it. The devil is defeated!
