Extraordinary always begins with ordinary. In Zechariah 4:10, we’re told “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin…”
I have seen the Lord do extraordinary things with ordinary people who were walking in the spirit, in the holiness and righteousness Jesus bought for them, and following Christ. That means they were doing what He taught - that’s obedience. Jesus said, If you love me, you will obey what I command” in John 14:15. How many people love Jesus and are saved, but don’t obey? Maybe that’s why they don’t see the extraordinary things… “obedience is better than sacrifice” 1 Samuel 15:22 tells us. What do you think?
