If you know Jesus then you The Way to everything and everyone you need to fulfill the purpose and calling for your life. Our problem is that sometimes we think we know better than God what will fulfill us, or we want things that aren’t part of God’s plan or purpose - OR, often we just want those things right now, and aren’t willing to wait for God’s plan and timing.
Waiting is a big part of walking by faith. Waiting isn’t just for God to set things up perfectly (which doesn’t look perfect, but is all about maximizing our influence with other people). Waiting is to shape us into the person we will need to be to handle the promise or situation with grace and love to touch the people God intended for us to touch.

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”
Isaiah 55:8-11
