These three words are a powerful statement of faith. Faith that God is always good, always right and always in control. When the Shunammite woman said them in 2nd Kings 4, her son lay dead. She chose to believe with the kind of faith that raises the dead and she sought the man of God, Elisha.
Whatever is troubling you today, ask God for “it is well” peace in your spirit. Unlike the Shunammite, we are filled with the Holy Spirit and have access directly to God. He knows what is best and He is gracious to give us everything we need.
