This is an interesting thought - it captured my attention and made me think… How many times have I been like Jonah? How many times have I resisted God’s instructions or the path He was leading me to take? Too many times. Yes, His grace and mercy have covered me, but I don’t know what I missed and I don’t know who missed out because of my fear or selfishness. I pray today for a heart that is open to the Lord’s will and a spirit of obedience. I pray that I will be and do all that He purposes for me today.
