Have you ever expected God to take away a problem, or to heal someone miraculously, and He didn’t? I have. I’ve seen God do miracles, and experienced them first hand - so praying for them expectantly isn’t far-fetched for me at all.
But God’s word tells us clearly that most of the time, He won’t change the circumstances or storms we’re dealing with. He will stay with us, though. He will strengthen us and protect us to get us through it when we turn to Him. His word also tells us the we will have trouble in this world, there will be storms and tragedies, mountains to climb and deserts to survive, but our God will walk through it all with us!
