The Lord gives us freedom, but He doesn’t have to. So much of the trouble we endure is because of our own freedom to mess things up and the fact that all of us are doing it at the same time. Even those of us who follow Him and are trying to live according to His word and His teaching are struggling with selfishness and human nature. He could put us all in order right now, but He doesn’t.
Don’t be deceived, He is aware of everything and everyone. His plan is in motion and we aren’t going to stop it. He is with us and He is helping us. The devil might be on the prowl, but Jesus has ALL AUTHORITY. Jesus wants you to walk in His authority too, instead of looking for the back door or someone or something to blame. Take it. Walk with Him. See what the Lord can do in and through you!
