How often do we pray for God to bless our plans and dreams without first seeking Him for His purpose and plan? How is it that we are so arrogant to assume that if we like something or want it, then that desire must come from God? Or that we “deserve” something because we’ve worked hard. That’s not what my Bible says.

The Bible does promise Gods blessings, but they are for our obedience. God does promise to work everything for good, but it’s for those who are following Gods purpose for their lives. God does promise to answer our prayers of faith IF we are abiding in Him and doing His will - this is key! If you are abiding in God then you strongest desire is to be and do what he created you and purposes you for, His will is over yours. “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”

‭‭John‬ ‭15:7-8‬ ‭
