Purposeful

One of my life’s mottos isn’t from the Bible. In fact, I don’t even know who originally said it but I heard it and have adopted it:

“You’re either green and growing

Or ripe and rotting.”

If you think about it, that’s true - there is no staying the same. God created us this way and He didn’t intend for our old age to be idle or without purpose. Every day we’re alive has purpose and it’s our job to pursue it, to challenge ourselves. To grow, to learn, to share with others and to give.
